Robert Loughran,
Music Director of the Youth Orchestra of Bucks County, is also the Music
Director of the Princeton High School Orchestra, and has served on the
faculties of Westminster Choir College of Rider University and
Bucks
County Community College.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Gettysburg
College and a Masters of Music
degree from Northwestern
University.
Mr. Loughran has studied conducting with Dr. Joseph Barone, founder of l’École Monteux, and Herbert Blomstedt,
former music director of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra. He has conducted
the Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra, Temple
University’s Gifted Young Musicians
Baroque Orchestra, the Main Line Symphony, and the Orchestra Society of
Philadelphia. Between Princeton Opera and Princeton
High School, he has conducted
fifteen stage productions which have included Hansel & Gretel, West Side
Story, Into the Woods, and Jerome Kern’s immortal Showboat.

Steve Sweetsir,
Director of the Wind Ensemble and Assistant Conductor of the Symphony, graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music and
Ithaca
College and holds Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in French Horn
performance. He has played with many
professional organizations, including the United States Coast Guard Band, the
Portland Symphony and the Corning Philharmonic.
Mr. Sweetsir currently performs with several
chamber groups, bands and orchestras in the Bucks
County area. Steve is a partner in Bucks County Piano.

Colleen Sweetsir is the Director of the Wind Symphony. She is an Assistant Conductor of the Bucks County Community College Band. She attended Boston Conservatory of Music and Ithaca College and holds a Bachelor of Arts from SUNY at Cortland. She was a member of the United States Coast Guard Band and toured the nation with them during our country’s Bicentennial. She is the former instrumental music director of the Lower Bucks Christian Academy and has been a member of various music groups including the Corning Philharmonic Orchestra, the Eastern Connecticut Symphony, and the Philadelphia Biblical University Band and Orchestra. She is currently a member of the Bucks County Symphony, Musica 2000, and the Bucks County Community College Band.

Molly
Jensen is a native of Kansas City, Kansas. Currently residing in
Philadelphia, she is also Director of the Instrumental Music Program at
Lore Elementary School in Ewing Township, New Jersey. Her
responsibilities at Lore include teaching, directing, and administering
the string, concert band, and jazz band ensembles. Until recently, she
operated a teaching studio, offering both private and group violin
lessons. Formerly she has had teaching positions in Olathe, Kansas;
Greeley, Colorado; and Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties in
Pennsylvania.
Graduating in 2001, Ms. Jensen
holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the Esther Boyer College of Music at
Temple University in Philadelphia, with a double major in Violin Performance
(as a student of Helen Kwalwasser)
and Music Education. She performs regularly as a chamber musician in the
Philadelphia area, most recently with Violin DuoSports, and the Serenata Music
Company, Ms. Jensen has also played with several local regional orchestras
in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
