Congratulations to Michael Yang, a member of YOBC's Wind Ensemble.

Michael is a winner in the Delaware Valley Philharmonic Orchestra's student composer competition this year. 

The title of his composition is "Night Music" and it will be performed on March 13th at the Delaware Valley Philharmonic's "Youth in the Arts" spring concert at Council Rock South. 

The orchestra will perform Dvorak’s “New World Symphony” and join with a local high school student orchestra to play other well known pieces. As always at the spring concert, the musical compositions of all the winners of our Youth in the Arts Competition will be performed, and the works of the winning poets and artists will be presented.
