Annual Master Class Series
YOBC will offer a Master Class series in January-March 2014. Watch this space for more infomation about this year's guests.
Classes are free of charge and open to all music students in the Bucks County area. Students must register in order to participate. Space is limited and offered first come, first served.

Saxophone Master Class
The College of New Jersey Saxophone Instructor and Saxophone Ensemble Director
Bucks County Community College Music Building, Lobby Check-in at 2:15 pm
High School Level Master Class 2:45 – 3:45 pm
This class is open to high school saxophone students and teachers. This is a hands-on class which will include skills instruction and group participation. Students should bring their instruments. Students are encouraged to bring materials for taking notes.

French Horn Master Class

Bucks County Community College Music Building, Lobby Check-in 15 Minutes Prior to Class
High School Level Master Class 2:45- 4:00 pm
Middle School Level Master Class 4:15 – 5:15 pm
These classes are open to French horn students and teachers. This is a hands-on class which will include skills instruction and a group read through of horn ensemble music. Students should bring their instruments. Students are encouraged to bring materials for taking notes.
Curtis Institute String Master Class - February 3, 2013
Presented By the Curtis Institute String Quintet
High School Level Master Class 5:15 - 7:25 pm
Middle School Level Master Class 5:15 - 7:25 pm
Bucks County Community College Music Building
Music for this master class will be emailed to students in advance of the event. Students are required to learn the music before the event. All students will participate in group coaching sessions. Open to middle school and high school level string students.
This is a hands-on master class. All students should bring their instrument, pencil and paper.
Limit: 30 students per class

Percussion Master Class

High School/Middle School Level Master Class 5:00 – 6:30 pm
This class is open to serious percussionists and teachers who are interested in learning more about percussion skills and techiques. Students will have the opportunity to work with Professor Trigg and hear demonstrations from the TCNJ Percussion Ensemble.
